MGA 4 Club Event

MGA 4 CLUB TOURNAMENT
February 11, 2012
THE GAME:
· Two man teams.
· USGA Rules will govern all play.
· Each player may use only 4 golf clubs. The putter counts as a club. You cannot use your partners clubs. Only bring the four clubs you are going to use.
· Front 9 will be Scramble format.
· Back 9 will be Best Ball format. Winter rules will apply for all shots from you own fairway.
· Play will be from the Blue Tees. Participants over the age of 60 can play from the White tees.
· On the score card you turn in, indicate if you played from the White Tees – IMPORTANT
· Handicap Rule 3.5 will be in effect.
· Score Cards require TWO signatures. One from each team.
· Putts inside the leather are good.
· Maximum Strokes per Hole = 10
· All ties will be decided by matching scores starting at the 9th and 18th hole and going backwards.
· In the event of inclement weather we will hold the event on the first available weekend date weather permitting.
PRIZES:
· We will have prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place Gross and Net for both the Front Nine and the Back Nine.
· Each team can only win one prize per nine.
· Prize amounts will be determined by the number of participants.
· There will be prizes for CTP’s.
ENTRY FEE and REGISTRATION:
· $25 per person.
· All prizes will be paid in HMGC Pro Shop credit
· Registration will be done through the MGA website. Each player must register individually and indicate in the comments section who their playing partner will be. If you are a single we will do our best to pair you with another single.
· When you register please indicate which tees you will be playing from.
· Registration closes 8 PM Sunday February 5, 2012.
