The 2011 Hamilton Mill Club Championship is in the books. A weekend of great weather and terrific course conditions provided the back drop for an exciting championship. Defending Club Champion, Mike Walton, entered the final round with a four stroke lead after 36 holes over 2005 Club Champion Gregg Giddens. “My goal was to shoot under par today” Mike said. After playing a near perfect round, shooting 68 with a stretch of 5 birdies starting on the 8th hole, he successfully defended his title for a record fifth championship. Mike’s 54 hole total was even par 216. CONGRATULATIONS MIKE!
